Tacoma, Washington
Back in civilization! We stayed overnight at my brother Bob's house in Tacoma, Washington. It was great to sleep in a bed after three nights in a tent in Glacier National Park. I did however miss the stars and the bright night sky. I walked up with my brothers David and Bob and my nephew Jonathan to Bob's favorite Starbuck's near his house. We toured the little shops there and had breakfast at Kahn's. They served us the best scrambled eggs and bacon of the entire trip.
We spent the day regrouping and preparing for our trip north to Anacortes and across by ferry to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island. It rained a little in the early evening. We leave in the morning.
